DESCRIPTION

Zambales is a popular surfing area and the nearest surf beach to Manila (3 hours drive). Zambales swell is not usually as large as the other surf beaches up north, although at times swell size can hit overhead, which makes it a great place for beginners to intermediate surfers. Reachable by car and bus from Manila.

SURF SPOT INFORMATION

San Antonio

Magic Left (Located in Pundaquit Village) is the most popular surf spot in San Antonio (Perhaps the local surfer favorite). An awesome spot during south swell.

San Narciso

The break is located right in front of Crystal Beach Resort, which offers terrific location to rent a bungalow for a weekend getaway. It breaks both left and right, just be careful of the strong currents.

San Felipe

The surf spot in San Felipe is called ‘High 5 Lahar’ aka ‘Lahar’. Lahar offers fun waves. This is the most consistent option when the other breaks aren’t working. The beach itself is a little tricky to find but the locals will be happy to give you directions.
