The Easy Way
From Manila you can fly to Siargao via Cebu or

Cebu pacific offer flights from Manila to Siargao (Via Cebu), Monday to Friday. This is the easiest way to get to Siargao from Manila. You will have a transit in Cebu but you can request at the counter for your baggage to be sent all the way to Siargao.

(Beware the regular baggage allowance is 15kg, you may need to prepay overweight and if you are bringing a surfboard you will need to tick “Sports Equipment”. This will cost you an extra 1000Pesos each way ~$25USD)

The Cost Effective Route
(Alternate Route) Fly from Manila to Surigao then take a boat to Siargao. This option is slightly more cost effective but more time consuming also.

Air Philippines Express offers daily flights from Manila to SURIGAO CITY. From there you will have to take the ferry to Siargao. The Air Philippines flight departs Manila at 11:30am, the last Ferry departs Surigao 12noon so it is a tight squeeze. If you miss the ferry you will have to stay overnight in Surigao City.

From Cebu

Just take the Cebu Pacific flight from Cebu direct to Siargao. Beware the regular baggage allowance is 15kg, you may need to prepay overweight and if you are bringing a surfboard you will need to tick “Sports Equipment”. This will cost you an extra 1000Pesos each way (~$25USD).
